Magnifying glass

With the age of Web 2.0 came the advancement of custom search engines and communication making it easier to solve any question anyone may have. The internet is flooded with tutorials showcasing how to make foods, do hairstyles, meet new people, paint and more; the possibilities are endless, but there are still many topics that have no tutorials published online. To cater to this predicament, producing Wikihow pages that have not been published on the website can possibly help someone in the future.

Firstly, there are no Wikihow pages dedicated to designing accessories on Adobe Illustrator. There are many published Wikihow pages on how to design clothes and croquis but none dedicated on how to design accessories through computer aided design. Within the fashion industry today many design companies are moving from paper illustration to computer aided design (including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), so it is important to grow with the industry. From the techniques I will provide in the Wikihow, they can be used to enhance any fashion portfolio by not only showing clothes but accessories designs as well.
Secondly, there are no Wikihow pages dedicated to creating a fashion based vision board. In the fashion industry vision boards are very important in helping others to see your vision and how you came up with the ideas for your collection. Vision boards help you as a designer put together your ideas in the begging of a process or to seal the process to complete a collection; which is also great for portfolios. In the Wikihow I will show how to create vision boards three ways; through paper, digital and a mixture of both.
Thirdly, there are no Wikihow pages dedicated on how to do a twist and curl hairstyle on natural hair. With natural hair (especially in the type 3 and 4 range) comes the versality to do any hair style from straight to afro. Although with natural hair also comes easy breakage, the twist and curl hairstyle serves as a protective style to style the hair and leave it alone, which can be very beneficial for flourishing hair. In the Wikihow I will show how to complete the style and moisturize the hair; this style can also work to stretch natural hair for a bigger afro, who wouldn’t want that!

In conclusion, everyone has been in a predicament of doing research and finding many things that just don’t hit the target. Magnifying searches on websites, on the internet, such as Wikihow can provide the steps for anyone to reproduce the results; as well as start dialogue for any person who may also have similar questions. By producing tutorials online, one can perfect their craft while also teaching others, everyone wins.
